"Night train to Xi'an," 2008-2020: hulusi, sheng, buddha machine, hydrophones, water-filled glass jars, metal dishrack, field recordings (Zhengzhou train station; overnight train from Zhengzhou to Xi'an; community performance next to Xi'an city wall). "For Wenchuan," 2008-2010: piano, visual score derived from Sichuan Wenchuan earthquake gravity wave tracings, VOA broadcast edits — in remembrance. Originally released on a 2011 split cassette from Arachnidiscs.
